Angel Cabrera returned to professional golf after a successful surgery. The 41-year-old Argentinean played his first 18 holes on Wednesday, May 11th, during a practice session at the Stadium Course without any trouble. He did not complain about any pain or discomfort.
Meanwhile, his swing coach, Charlie Epps who accompanied him during the session, said that the player was well and could play golf without any serious trouble.
Epps said, “”He feels pretty good. We went to the doctor in Houston Saturday and they said it was healing well and he could go ahead and play golf”.
Cabrera had to withdraw from the Wells Fargo Championship due to a sudden discomfort experienced during the tournament. The player visited a hospital in Charlotte on Monday to get rid of the problem and had a complete medical checkup.
