Angel Cabrera to play at Nordelta

Argentine golfer Angel Cabrera could not end in the top hundred twenty five list on PGA TOUR 2012’s money list. He made 9 out of twenty cuts, but was unable to hit the top ten after a really bad season. He had to deal with many things, like ranking outside top – 140 in driving accuracy, strokes gained putting and GIR. It is tough to tell where this veteran golf player will show up.

Angel Cabrera has won 2 Grand Slams. This is the second time when Cabrera will play at Nordelta this year. It is expected that his fellow Argentine players will also have a good tournament. This year’s field consists of 156 golf players. According to reports, players like Cesar Costilla, Tommy Cocha, Alan Wagner, Cañete, Vicente Fernandez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Eduardo Romero and Scott Dunlap.

Ángel Cabrera, who plays at both PGA Tour and European Tour, is popularly known as ‘El Pato’ in Spanish. He is the very first Argentine golf player to win both the Masters and U.S. Open champion. In the year 2005, 2007 and in 2009, Ángel Cabrera was in the international squad led by South African golfer Gary Player in Presidents Cup.

Ángel became a professional golfer at the age of 20. His first 3 tour to uropean Tour Qualifying School were not successful, but he qualified for European Tour member ship in the year 1996. His very first professional victory came in 1995 in Latin America, but his 1st European Tour victory was 2001 Argentine Open that was actually sanctioned by European Tour.
